OE Wheels: What's the status on the 18/18 & 17/17 combos?

I want 18'' C6 dd Z06 in gunmetal!!! But how wide of a tire will fit on an 18x8.5? I want to keep the 275 & 315 setup if possible (eventhough 315's are hard to find for 18's). Honestly, if they were available in 17x9.5 and 17x10.5 or 11, I would actually prefer that!

OE- i know you want us to wait...but i cant Any recent news on the 18x9.5??? Sold the Z06's and i'm ready to buy

I know u guys are excited about the 18x9.5 C5 DD, ETA is JANUARY 2010 for BLACK and MACHINED BLACK.

CHROME is looking like FEBRUARY 2010.

That's understandable. Jus' as long as you keep us updated! I know us guys get really frustrated when companies leave us in the dark about new products and then it gets to the point where we say, "Forget it."

Hey OE Wheels , Ever think about make`n a 18x9.5 & 18x10.5 FIREHAWK or even WS6
replica wheel ??? it`s just a thought , kinda different since nobody seems to make anything like that .

They are going with the 2 biggest selling finishes at this point (Chrome and Black), and they added a small run of the machined black. If these sell like you guys tell me they will, we wil go for more finishes and maybe more sizing in other wheels.

I was hoping for gunmetal also. Maybe by the time summer comes along they'll have gunmetal in 18x9.5 matched to 18x10.5 so we can run 275 front and 315 rear.
