No im still waiting. I think i might be giving Mike a call over at Race Star Industries tomorrow or rather today. I have been back and forth to work only getting about 2 hours in between each time i go out so my days are all messed up. I have worked 60 hours since saturday night. Big emergency came up and im the Inspector in this particular plant. But anyways back on topic, Mike told me last time i talked to him that the wheels should be being delivered to their shop either the third or forth week of November (this month of 2009) And as soon as they receive them they would be shipping them out to their vendors. Which i am #2 on the preordered list with Jims Racing Tires so i will get mine as soon as they hit the market. I will be sure to post up a thread saying "They Finally Came In" on here but i will also post a thread with a hyperlink back to that thread in the LT1-LT4 forum, Thanks for still sharing an interest in my thread.

I called last week to get on the pre ordered list and said the same thing you said late november of 2009.
what I find funny is these fit over our stock brakes and are cheap,other wheel manufactures state that our wheels need special hoops so that drives price way up.Im going race star industry wheels

Well I just got off the phone with race star industries. They told me they just found out today that their delivery will be at their shop tomorrow. After they check everything out they should have all deliveries to the vendors by beginning or middle of next week. I can't wait to get them in. I will get my tires ordered and mounted as soon as as they come in and will post the pics.

Well technically they are a little more special. They way they adjusted to accommodate is on the original Greg Weld design the wheels were lower on the front side of the hoop then came up some maybe est. 3/4"-1"(guessing on this number) to the wheel face and then stayed at this height one the backside of the hoop. Well now the higher side of the hoop is on the outside of the face. The face is at the same level as the outside of the hoop then drops down an est. 3/4"-1"(again guessing) on the backside of the hoop to allow clearance for the LS1 f-body brakes. All this came from Mike himself (original machinist for Greg Weld, that cut the wheels) and is now the owner and new designer of the wheels.

Hey, I'm glad I posted their link up in that other thread... incase you missed it http://www.racestarindustries.com/catalog.html I know they're not in my budget right now even though they are priced extremely well. Hopefully this spring I'll have a set!

Well i talked to Jims Racing Tires today and he said that Race Star Industries today and said they should be receiving their shipment in tomorrow so i should be getting my wheels at the beginning of next week. So i should have some pics up of just the wheels and then i will get some more posted up when i get the wheels mounted.

Well Jim from Jims Racing Tires just called me about five minutes ago and said that his shipment of 250 wheels arrived today. He told me i was #2 on his list so mine will be getting sent out for shipment first thing tomorrow morning. I should receive them Monday or Tuesday since they are being shipped from Baltimore and i live in Southeast Texas. I will post up the pics as soon as they come in. I will take pics with them next to my rear Greg Welds so you will be able to tell the differences that have been made from the old design.
