Same here, I work @ a former GM plant that makes most of the car spindles/bearings & I dont trust their(China's) quality. I will be spending the extra money to buy rims made by people like me, AMERICANS!
Some new GM wheels are being made there but most likely in GM plants & they are responsible for the quality & believe me they dont want to warranty them or be sued for putting a part that can fail & cause an accident.
Remember all the lead in the toys & the bad dry wall? Do you think they care about me or you? The life time warranty means nothing if you get a bad rim that causes an accident.
But those that dont care about buying things made in China might be right SINCE BASICALLY CHINA OWNS THE U.S. NOW.
How does that make you feel?
Buy American because you are an American.

I called them & was told they are 100% US made, only problem with them is I hear minimal front caliper grinding MAY be needed to use without spacer. They only advertise 15x10 as made for LS F bodies.
I bought my car with Weld Pro Star 15x10 & 3.5 so it has the front spacer & ground rears. I am a tool & die maker and both the grinding & spacer are unacceptable to me so I am buying 4 new wheels. The only US made wheels I have read about that are suppose to be direct fit front & rears are Bogart and Weld RTs, have heard mixed about Billet Spec fronts. I live near Summit Racing so when I am ready I am leaning towards the Billet Specialties and if I dont like the fit I can exchange them.
If I am mistaken on any of my info please feel free to correct me.
