My Drag Set-up

Pretty basic.

Weld Prostars:15x8 w/ 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson D/R's

Summit Stars: 15x4 w/ 165/80/15 Kuhmo cheapos.

Probably a dumb question, but Ive been wanting to put a simular setup on my Z28. Are EXTENDED studs needed to fit the Welds?

Here is a picture of them, Up-front I have hal qa1 12-way adjustable shocks, I dont really know the price, I bought the car with them on it. Out back it stock shocks, with v6 rear springs.

No I did not use extended studs, You do have to grind away the brake caliper quite a bit to get the rear rims to fit. Since I have the knock-off summit rims upfront there was no griding required.

look sick haha thats almost my exact set up i have same kumos on a 15x4 summit star and the rears are 15x8 but i have a 555r 275 60 15 im just waiting on the rear tires to show up my car is lowered about 2 inches i know you said you have v6 springs in the back are they lower then stock?. my fenders are rolled but i was worried about fitting a 28" tire

I can't remember what Kumho it is but I used to be able to get them for like 26 dollars a tire.

In my opinion though, I didn't like them. Always looked flat even with 40 PSI.

I run that exact same setup except have the 12 way adjustables in the rear also...good set-up

It's great because I run a stock rear sway bar and can adjust them independently. I have to admit it rides a little funny to be so soft up front and stiffer in the back.
