Question 315's rub

I have 17x11's and 315 nittos and they rub a bit. Would it be all right to take out the bump stops and grind the place where they go down? Or what can i do so that it gives it more room for the wheel?

see where its rubbing in the well, tap that in. if the top of the tire is hitting the lip you will need to shim the bump stop, you may need a light trim on the mount, after i lowered my car I was much better off. Last i needed to get a rod ended panhard to get them to stop rubbin after the 1.5 inch drop
