rims --> polished vs chrome
-Chrome is like a silvery/gray mirror so sparkle color depends more on what color of light hits it.
Heres my way of explaning it:
chrome shine in the sunlight like looking straight at your headlights at night,bright yellow/white
polished shine like those white silverstar lights,very intense white
Maybe my rants made some sense, oh and chrome can just be washed off while polished need to be well...polished.
chrome wheels are simple to maintain, just wash them and dry them. They always look new when clean.
If you curb rash a chrome wheel, the chrome will start to flake off. Costs more to repair/replace than a polished wheel.

When freshly polished, they kick ***.. but it's nearly impossible to keep up with them on a daily driver.
As Tony said, the polished wheels are alot more "durable". I'm glad that I had the polished 17x11's first on my car. It's easy to forget you have monsters on there and do something stupid. They were my "training" wheels

I have pictures of my car with both Chrome & Polished rims on my website, check them out http://www.johnbrown.net/
