I'm looking for pics of painted or powder coated stock z/28 wheels. My car is pewter and I was thinking about painting my wheels gunmetal.

came out as good as the powedercoat but was a lot of prep sanding, 2 coats of primer more wet sanding, 3 coats of high heat black, 3 of high heat clear really dont want them to fade and fog up. cost about 25$ in material to do 2 wheels instead of 100$ plus tire mount and dismount for powder coating some wheels that i will only use few times a year.
if you go with paint put the tires you want on first because most likely they will get scraped up when mounting on painted wheels
P.S. pewter on gloss black is a good idea too!
