Did you not read my ******' post? I said they look a lot better didn't I?

Yes, I just said they look a lot better.

Just like I did in the previous threads.

So how am I a hypocrite? LOLWTF?

People can run the heavy fake prostars all they want, at least you were smart enough to take it a step further and make them look nicer with Weld centercaps.

idk why you bash these wheels so much i have a set my self people like me and stealth formula baught them for the look not for weight savings i could care less if they are from china and are 1000000 pounds heavier then welds i want the look it wasent about weight savings id rather save the money on buying these wheels and put it towards something that will make more of a diffrence like a head or cam swap

Thank you! I remember you posted in my one thread about bolt-in valve stems saying the place you had your tires mounted had them in stock. Luckily the place I took the wheels and tires to for mounting and balancing had them and slapped them on for me so now I'm legal! haha

If you're looking for a drag car look, without the benifits of a drag wheel then these wheels are definatly the correct choice, and you should be happy with them. I don't bash these wheels, because they're good for people who are just looking for "the look"

As far as spending your money on something that will make more of a difference, I spent mine on a REAL set of drag wheels, and dropped my ET by almost .30 over heavy 17x9s and 17x10.5s

Quite a difference if you ask me.

I keep seeing posts about them weighing more than real welds, but has anyone weighed them wheel for wheel? I'm just saying!!!!

A lot of people have weighed them and compared them, myself included.

A cast wheel (summits) will ALWAYS outweigh an aluminum wheel (Welds)

The car does look good with them though!

3 static lbs x 3 (wheel rotational mass) = 9 so they are 9lbs heavier each.

9lbs each x 4 wheels = 36lbs heavier per set.

PS when I weighed them, only the fronts were 3lbs heavier each, the rears were even more.

Remember the 12lbs. must be multiplied by 3 to get the rotational mass so taking that into consideration, the entire set is ~36lbs. heavier than Welds.

But true you could just run less gas in the tank atleast thats how I feel. Some people want that extra .05 ET or so and they shouldn't be running the heavier summit wheels but for people like me, I could care less about 36lbs.
