Default ? about zr1 17x11's

I want to put these on my car but I want to know where you can get the zr1's that have the bigger lip instead of the one that has the deeper center. I saw a set of these on a couple of people's cars but didn't get to ask where they were purchased from. Does anyone know which one's I'm talking about?

Thanks,

Jason

On the new set.. the depth around the lug nuts is the same on both front and back rims (315's). Lugnuts themselves are deeper on the back.

Those are the (36.5mm). They are not the offset for a camaro. But the basic rim design on the new wheels are all the same. Just the BS is different.

OE Concepts have the larger lip on the 11" wide wheels which you can barely see in my pic: (rear wheel)

http://www.off-road.com/~sspickler/p...2/rearhigh.jpg

(I have tried both ZR1 and GS offset and they both have the same lip size)

Usually the other 11" wide wheels don't have this lip and the center of the wheel comes out farther with less lip (same back spaccing). This means they have to have a deeper (thick) hub. Here's some AFS 11" wheels:
no lip:

deep hub:

But it sounds like you can get both styles from AFS now.

That lip on rodents t/a is the one i've been looking for. From my understanding, you can't get that anymore. Now i'm confused... check out this thread that I started about it...

So if you can buy these "dished" ZR1's, what is involved in getting them?

I read your post and I'm a little confused. Are you looking for the the deep dish hub or are you looking for a shallow hub with the deeper lip. When I say deeper lip, I mean the wheel comes out 2" from the spokes and has a shallow 2" hub where the others only come out about 1" from the spokes but have this 3" deep center hub. Make sense? Look at the pics again I posted. Todd sells OE Concepts and mentioned the wheels he has a deeper lip. I think the deeper lip looks much better IMHO.

When i'm refering to a "dish", i'm talking about the deeper lip. I don't care for the deep hub myself. A friend of mine has the deep lipped ZR1's on his IROC and I borrowed them for a day and I was hooked. I don't really like the way the non-dished 11's look because of the huge hub.

I don't really understand the backspacing and offset thing, so it's hard for me to understand what everyone is talking about. But the dished lip are the ones I want (like on your t/a).

Sounds like Todd or AFS has the wheel you want then.

The backspacing/offset has nothing to do with the lip. As you know, they make a GS (36mm) and ZR1 offset (50mm). You want the GS offset (36mm) since those won't stick out as far. The ZR1 offset will stick out 1/2" farther and hit your fenders.

I pm'd todd. We'll see how that goes. AFS said they didn't make the dished lip, so I don't know.

Yup. Stopped producing that style about year ago. Notice the pictures in my first post

I bought both offset sets of OE Concepts last year. When I ran the stock axle, I used the 36mm, then I had my new 12 bolt narrowed 1/2" on each side which is why I'm running the 50mm now. Both sets had the same syle of lip. They must of changed the design.
