Default What do you think of 27x10.5x15 ET Streets.........

would this be a good choice of tire for a 99 Camaro SS with full bolt ons, LT headers, X-Pipe, moser 12bolt with 4.11 gears? My big question is Will it hook up if I do a 4,500 to 5,000 rpm launch with my 6spd? Oh I will have full SUSP. set up to, the SS is getting spoiled this winter Low 12s is my goal with just boltons, susp.,and slicks!!!

That tall a tire should be good for 12's without a problem. You could even go 26" if you were just shooting for 12's with your gear setup. If you plan on low 11's you'd probably have to go to 28" tall. This is provided you don't shift to 5th gear. The more sidewall on the tire the better for hooking up.

Bad2000ss I notice you have convo pros, do they stick out or do they tuck pretty good in the rear? I am getting those also because I don't want to grind down the calipers for weld pro stars and don't have money for bogarts.

27x11.5's are good for a six speed car. But, last I checked, M/T doesn't make such and animal. Your probably thinking of a 26x11.5 or the Hooiser QTP 27x11.5's
