What backspacing does the front have 1.75? And u just bolted the fronts on and u never had to grind the calipers? That alone is worth 99 buck a front wheel if that's true

correct me if i'm wrong ;-)
You're wrong. Those are the preferred offsets for STOCK rears. Read his first post, his is narrowed 3" per side

With 5.5 backspace you better only be using a 8" rim. And no, no one knows because no one has used these wheels in the rear yet.

I def need to read up on backspacing - its pretty clear I have this completely backwards - and/or just plain wrong lol..

Wouldn't less bring the rim farther away from the wall/parts and more positive offset clear the brakes? -- please excuse my noobiness

FLAME SUIT ON! - i did do a search, just brain farting.

That would be awsome! If these will fit, even with grinding the caliper, I am going to order a pair! I wish the had a 7.5bs for their 15x10 wheel....guess I'll be going with a 15x8 if they fit.

Gotta grind the rear Calipers to runs the stock brakes.
I am gonna take the plunge and order some front and rear Drag brakes. Hell the car doesnt have PS, A/C, Heat, or a radio. Why have power brakes.

He probably told you that because you called SUMMIT to order a JEGS wheel. You know they are like huge competitors, right?

These wheels are like 90 dollars a piece. You could probably trade your back two Weldstars for 4 jegs wheels with new tires. I personally wouldn't give up your lighter 10" street wheels for heavier 8" wheels that need grinding.
