See you bought Road Hazard, and they replaced them, as in it was a Road Hazard issue, NOT A MANUFACTURER DEFECT.

You posted up to bad mouth a company uneccesarily.

Got the same tires on my goat. No problems yet. Even took them on a road course.

it's ok your not the only one, i see people like you everyday at work tryin to blame us or the tire for blowing out or loosing air... come to find out the hit a curb or have a nail in their tire... the reason people are giving you a hard time is because in your original post you came out all gun ho about sumitumo saying how thier tires are not "safe" to drive on... lol thats a joke you just got your panties all up ina bunch because you had a blow out, was this your first blow out? like i said in my other post, doesnt matter what kind of tires you bought, you could still have a blow out at any moment... the only diff between a bfg and sumi is the bfg has better traction and built better... with the cheap tires they come in a lot for seperation out of balance, blah blah blah, mostly seperation... i will never put anything but mich and bfg on my cars, but on my SS i would also put nittos and sumis... hell i have sumis now... and like someone said earlier you didnt hesitate to put two more back on there huh? lol people like you crack me up, cause you know more than us about tires... bahahaha

I have no explanation for the blow out other than a manufacturing defect
so you did say you checked you air every other day... hmmm

Wow kinda hard to beleave I have had three sets of 285/35-18's onthe rear of my Vette have run as fast as 170MPH many times with no problems at all, the last set I got 25000 miles out of them & I have a lead foot .
You know it is posible you ran over something on the road that comprimssed the side wall of the tire I have sean this happen in the past.
But any way I would check on getting an ajustment from tire rack.
Good luck
