Winter Tires :(

I know. But I don't have a choice but to drive it. Now. What I'm curious about is whether or not a 235/55/17 tire will fit and work. I have the ss 10-spokes.

(I found a decent deal on the tires) I'd use the old 16's but have bigger brakes...

no those will not work. that is way too stretched. 245s are the smallest you should go

im just saying, i have seen worse, and im sure they will work, they will just be a bitch to get the bead to seat... as long as you take it to someone that knows what the hell they are doing they will work they will just look like ****... but just dont let the air to low cause the bead will pop off... but i would not recommend that i would just get the right size or close to it...

Thanks guys, they were just some take-offs from an '08 gt on craigslist. Maybe there are some thinner cheap 17" wheels out there. Any ideas what cars might have 17"s that fit?
