I tried 5/16 in the front but did not like the way the tire stuck out so mounted all wheels flush on hubs/flanges with no spacers. The fronts are very close but clear and do not rub. The fronts only rub the front plastic wheel well on hard turns.
The rears I had to adj. the PH bar just a 1/4 turn and a little BFH but nothing serious.

oreo,
any shots straight down the sides showing how far they are recessed?
maybe having your front caster increased would help you to clear the front fender wells??
thanks

im running 3/16" spacers in the front. the wheel was literally like 1mm away from hitting the spindle with no spacers so i would not suggest running straight hub. the rears i used 5/16" spacers to put the wheel out to the fender perfectly and get the tire away from the bumpstop because it was hitting it way too much with the car off the ground

I'll get the pics that everyone is asking about as soon as weather permits so I can get a good shot.

Does anyone have any experience with these kind of spacers or any like these?? I found these on Ebay from a company with an Ebay name of Sscramblin. They have a really large selection of different sizes of spacers for many different makes of vehicles.... I spoke once with one of the techs there, and he seemed very knowledgable. They seem to specialize in suspension and wheel parts, so I think they are someone to listen to......
As you can see, they have studs coming off the spacer so I would think this would really eliminate the need for longer studs or deeper lugnuts... Not sure if the are the hub-centric kind, so not sure if they would have any balancing issues or not. May call them to ask about this issue....
But I am seriously thinking of these for my T/A with the C6 18x9.5 fronts and the 18x10.5 rears I have. But just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these or ones like them to see if they would be a good way to go????? Anyone, anyone....????? Beuhler.....????

Actually, the protruding "hubring" you're referring to would classify the adapter as wheel centric. Hub centric doesn't necessarily refer to a protruding lip from the adapter, but simply manufacturing the diameter of the inner ring to fit the hub without any play involved.
