Experience with C5 wheels/tires on Fbod?
Just installed my stock C5 thinspoke wheels with stock C5 sized tires on the TA.
For reference, the wheels are:
17x8.5 in front, 58mm offset(?), 245/45R17
18x9.5 in rear, 65mm offset(?), 275/40R18
It seems like in heavy cornering (where there would be body roll), I'm hearing some noises like tire rub? Turning slowly lock-to-lock there is no issue (like pulling into a parking spot).
Car is not lowered and rear seems centered. Noise is definately on one side when turning one way, and switches when turning the other way.
Anyone else have experienced something like this? I can't imagine they are rubbing on the outside fender, they seem so inset, must be rubbing on the inside.
Opinions? Front or rear rub? What do I do to take care of this? Spacers?
Help would be appreciated plus any recommendations.

REAR tire is hitting the inner wheel well. Need to do the BFH mod or get some spacers on the rear wheels.
BFH = Big F'ing Hammer . . . take the wheel and tire off, and you should see clearly where the tire has contacted the rubberised undercoat in the wheel well . . .massage away, and re-undercoat . . . there are pic's out there some where . . .

I have a lowered Z28 with 17x9 1/2 & 11 ZR1s. I used to get rubbing in the rear until I changed my panhard bar, LCAs and added a 1/4" spacer. I've got a 1/2" spacer on the front (not for rubbing issues) but the tire rubs on numerous spots on the fender liner. The fender liner is fairly flexable so no big deal there. Just inspect carefully. If you end up getting spacers you will need longer wheel studs and new lug nuts. Good luck.
