Question on tires....
#4
these questions are impossible to answer. it depends on the wheel offset and backspacing. something like a y2k will rub with a 275 on most cars. it also depends on the brand of tire. a 315 nitto may have plenty of clearance while a 315 GSD3 will be a nightmare.

315's. I almost away with 335 Hoosiers on a 17x12" wheel non lowered without cutting bumpstops, rolling the fenders, or BFH mod. However, on the dyno when the car squatted it rubbed inside the wheel well and popped on the rollers, that was scary. Did the BFH mod and no issues. Went to a M/T 315 for tread pattern, still no rolling the fenders etc. I had 28" M/T's for the track on my Bogarts, had to cut the bumpstops, BFH, and air hammer part of the fenderwell where the subframe connected in. After I got what I wanted to out of it at the track and no longer cared as much about proper suspension geometry I lowered it. Added 345/40's (28" tire) Toyo DR's and had to finally roll the fenders. Here are a few pics:

M/T 315's (not the best angle)
Toyo 345/40's (again, not the best angle)
