Default Which size wheels 17" or 18"

I am going to buy a set of Z06 wheels for my car. I have lowered it with Strano springs. My question is should a go with 18” wheels all the way around or a staggered set with 17” up front and 18” out back. Where is the best place to buy a set of wheels as well.

Although I think most will say 18's all around, I don't htink you can go wrong either way. I don't know what year/model car you have but I have staggered height wheels on my lowered LT1 Trans Am and they fill the wells perfectly and most people can't tell they are different.

I'm not a big fan of staggered setups so I would automatically go with 18" all around.

Here's a T/A that I like that pulls off 17's and 18's very well (Ben77).
Although I'm not surprised with the responses and 18's would look good as well, I'm kinda surprised that nobody cares what model or year car they are giving opinions about?..

I think LT1 Trans Ams pull it off well, but It looks like you have an 01 6 speed Camaro SS!

Personally I am falling in love with the ruff 278's chrome looks good on anything and the hyperblacks good on pewter, white, and red IMO. 18's without a doubt

I am in the same boat. Questions I have are

Any fitment issues with 18's requiring rolling fenders or anything else?

How much ride quality do you lose with that lower profile tire?

I had a 17/18 combo on my LT1 Z28 a few years back and absolutely loved the look. You could barely see the difference, but it gave it a nicer stance, and I had more choices for rear tires . If you want a few pics just shoot me a pm and I can dig them up for ya. The car was viper red and the wheels were black w/polished lip.

As for ride quality, if you buy a good tire (I had pirelli's), You will barely notice the difference. The guy that bought the car from me later put some cheaposon it, and it rides a lot rougher now. So be careful with tire choice.

Not a big fan of staggered set ups, especially on 4th gens. As far as 17's or 18's looking better, thats really subjective. Personally I prefer 17's. I like to have a little side wall, and think 17's are the perfect size for our cars. I don't think 18's look bad either. I used to have a set on my car.

As far as your two choices, 18's all around looks alot better than staggered in my opinion.
