Default BFH Pictures

I tried search and only found one instance of pictures for the BFH. What Im trying to find is the working area for the BFH and also about how much "massaging" was needed.

It all depends on what size and brand of tire you're going to run. My sumitumo 315s took none but my bfgs took some and i had to roll the fenders and cut the bump stops

The area that is going to rub first will be the front inside part of the wheel well where it kinda cuts the corner

put the tires on your car, drive around for about a week. Then take the wheels off and see where it rubbed. hammer the crap out of it. then paint over where the undercoating came off. throw the wheels back on and see if it rubs anymore. If it does then go back in and hit it some more. thats what i did for my car,

It should be pretty clear if you need to BFH as soon as you put the wheel/tire on. BFH the areas that seem pretty obvioius. Get some white chalk and rub it all over the inside area of the tire. Go drive around, and see if any of the chalk transfered over. Obviously the areas that have white marks (from the chalk) are the areas that will need more attention.

mount the tire then put a bunch of chalk on the tire
have a fat friend jump up and down a few times in the back to have the car squat. take the tire off and hammer where you see chalk

I found this pic from an older thread. You may not have to BFH, cut and shave all these areas. This is the extreme but it gives you a general idea of where you will run into issues.

Thank you guys! I finished one round of BFH and undercoating, going to spray one more coat (Car has 9500 miles and I want the texture to match) and drive it. I think Im going to take it to a body shop to have the fenders rolled before I lower it. FYI I am running TTii's with 315/35 Nitto 555s
