Default soft lip or traditional ?

Getting ready to purchase a set of billet specialties dyno-g rims . are there any disadvantages in a soft lip rim as opposed to a traditional or stepped type ? I like the soft lip ones , just want to make sure there are not any issues, thanks, JOHN

The only disadvantage would be if you didn't like them, if you like them , get them!
It shouldn't make any difference whether it stepped or soft lip.

It looks like the one with a Traditional Lip is offered in 17 x 11 but the soft lip isn't ( at least on newstalgiawheel.com).
What sizes are you looking at?
