Default wheel/tire balancing beads...ever try them?

I think the worst part about new wheel and tires are the retarded stick or press weights for balance. A friend of mine uses a brand (non sponsor) of ceramic wheel balancing beads and it rides smooth as glass. They auto balance your wheels and tires throughout the life of the tire but I'd like to know if an F-body with 18's has ever seen this treatment? What do our sponsors have to say??

If the tire is wearing evenly, why would the weight need to 'adjust for tire wear'? The same weight should keep a tire balanced if it has very low tread or full tread as long as it is worn evenly.

Im just wondering rather than sticking weights on or clipping them to the wheel if these would work. would be a much cleaner look. I did notice however that they are designed for trucks and offroad vehicles but the principle should be the same. Also wouldnt have to worry about weights flying off and having to go back to the shop.

stick on and clip weights have been used forever to balance wheels and tires. if you have a balancing issue and cannot get a good low number, you either have a bad tire, a bent wheel, or you have a finicky wheel/tire combo and you should roadforce it which involves finding the perfect position to mount the tire onto the wheel. this can be done at any Discount Tire and maybe some other places too. costs are a bit more than a standard balance though and it's not particularly necessary unless a standard dynamic balance isn't working to your liking

+1 on the road force balancing....make sure you trust the place you take it because this involves mount/dismounting the tirs several times unless they are good enough to dismount one side and "spin" the tire to the proper setting on the rim

as far as balancing beads....i would say no...i worked in the tire industry for years and we never put those in anything smaller than a RV or semi tires..lol
plus they ruin the inside of the rim cause you prob have aliminum wheels instead of steel wheels like commercial vehicles

good luck
