Default What do you think of these rims?

I was thinking about getting a set of these rims (XXR/Sport Max 962) in 17x9 +35mm w/275/40/17 tires on all four corners. Will there will be major tire rubbing issues on the front with that rim/offset/tire size? Right now I have chrome Firehawk wheels that need some TLC and have 275/40/17 tires on them. I'd get the ones with the deep lip for all four corners.

Here is a Picasa album with some pics of the fitment:

I dont think there should be any fitment issues with them.
But IIRC they have had problems with the paint/finish on those wheels peeling and flaking over time.

Nice looking wheel. Not sure about the offset though.

Did a quick and dirty photoshop job... Still not sure... Source & rim pics aren't the best, but you can get an idea... Car is lower now than in the pic & has black LED 3rd brake light.

Sport Max 962
You should have no problem running a 17 x 9, +35 offset, but check(rear driverside fender lip) to make sure if you don't have an adjustable PHB.

It'd be nice if they came in a wider size.

Wow, those look good with the lip... Coming from ZR-1's though I think they're a little too close to that look for me to go back to.

I'm not getting them. My Firehawks look better and weigh 4 lbs less, each. I'll just have the Firehawks rechromed to fix the flaking/leaking. I love that deep dish though.

Don't rule out getting the wheels powder-coated. You can get a powder-coat finish that looks like chrome.
