Default Will the tire fit the rim? Yes I looked in the sticky! :D

Anyone know if a 295/45/18 tire will fit on 18x9 inch rim? Or are 295s out of the question because the rim is 9 inches wide? I know 305s and 315s are a nono on those rims but, what about a beefy 295? Hellllp Thanks

If not basically im looking for a meatier sidewall for my rears, front will most likely be 275/35/18s, but I want a bit of a rake from the tire sidewall height. And would like to have bigger than a 275 if possible. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I fit a 12.5" ET street on a stock 8" wheel so I'd say yes that tire should fit on that wheel.

The tire manufacture should have the specs on the minimum wheel width.
Goodyear, and Nitto specs both say 9.5" minimum wheel width.
FYI, the nitto's run narrow so a 9" wheel probably won't be a problem.

Yeah your correct, but the tire is a 295/40/18, not a 295/45/18 you listed.

BTW, why such a tall tire(28.45")?

A 284/40/18 (27") would be a more reasonable size.

I really like the taller sidewall height. I want my car to have a little rake to it as well without having two completely different fender spaces between the tires and the fender.
