Well you need to make sure you get that put on the site.

Because of it not being on the site a sale was lost because I already bought Billet Specialties Streetlites for my car.

I sent an email to Scott to see if he could get it taken care of, and to find out what the deal is. Billet Specialties are nice products too, I'm sure you'll be happy with them.

Yes, please email Scott. We need another wheel out here that can go on an f-body with the backspacing we need. I had a set of magnum drags and sold them not too long ago but they were a 5.5 backspacing. I might get another set for the camaro if I sell these Streetlites.

Weld has just come out with a new line of wheels called the RT-S.
These wheels are welded together instead of a bolted in center.
They are offering these wheels in different mounting pad hieghts for larger brake applications. 15 inch are out now with 17 and 18 inch to follow soon.
Here is your answer to the F-body applications. These wheels will fit with no modifications, just like the RT series. They are less expensive as well.
Hope this helps.

The question is weight though. If I remember correctly the 15x10 Magnum drag I had was only 10lbs compared to the 15x10 Billet Streetlites weighing in at 17lbs. My frontrunner weighs what the rear magnum drag/alumastars weighs. Plus nothing beats the look of an all polished Magnum Drag or Alumastar

Not sure why the 15x10 7.00 backspace Alumastar and Magnum never made it to the catolog, but Scott said it is no problem to get an Alumastar or Magnum in that size and backspace, and yes they are much lighter than the BS wheel.

I like Alumastars and Magnums, but I would not drive on the street with them... Light drag wheels bend. Don't get me wrong, I'm a dealer for Weld and like their stuff. I DD on Draglites and Prostars for years.

I wouldn't say to daily drive on those wheels but I would hit up the local spot or a short street cruise on them.

I driven my 17" Alumastars all over on the street. I knew I was taking a risk driving them on the street, so I wasn't going to cry if something did happen, but luckilly nothing ever did.

Yeah mine are at least 7" because I had my wheel guy call Weld and find the out what was the biggest backspace avaiable for Alumastar. I also went with the 2 1/4' backspace on my fronts too. I have put around 3000 miles street miles on my alumastars and half of them were highway miles. I am with camaro396, we are take the chances and can't get mad if or when it does happen.

Hey camaro396 how heavier are your current rear rims over the alumastar rims?

Sorry for the hi-jack

I can't remember the exact numbes off hand, but not too much. They're built to be street friendly, so a little weight had to be sacrificed in the centers, but they're a strong wheel! I love them!
