There's not really any point in going to a 15" rim if you're going to run a Jegs or Summit wheel, as they are about as heavy as your stock wheels, being a china made steel wheel.

from my experiences with the summit & jegs wheels, they are definitely lighter than stock wheels. especially my 17inch Speedlines. a friend runs them on his mustang & when we swap his tires at the track, his welds are only a few lbs lighter. as for being steel, you're wrong on that, they are most definitely aluminum.

to the OP, on a camaro with stock width rear a 15x10 with 6.5 bs is gonna hang out of the wheel well. a 15x10 with 7.5 bs is what you need & both Jegs & Summit do not have that backspacing available. a 15x8 with 5.5 bs will work & many people on here have 275s on a 8 inch wide wheel.

I said steel as sarcasm as to how heavy they are, I know they are a cast-aluminum wheel. A 15x10 Summit Star was 8lbs heavier than a 15x10 Weld Prostar when weighed at our shop. That's quite a bit of static weight difference, let alone rolling mass.

You must have a custom one off set

I didn't do **** but bolt my 325s on. No cutting or grinding. Tapped a bit with a BFH on the inner wheel well, that was it.

they are fine, but for serious track use, no. they use acorn style lug nuts, not the shank style like the welds, which with aftermarket studs, make a strong combo. the jegs wheels are good for street use and should take more abuse than a weld, considering they are listed as a racing wheel, the jegs are for street... just my .02
