Default Will a 285/30/18 fit on a 18x9 rim?

I was going to go with a 275/40/18. I know those work... but that might be the limit. I like to put the widest tire that will fit. Thanks

Hi there ZtwentyATE, yes it will fit. I had recently bought 285/40/17 Kumho Ecsta MX tires and they are awesome. No rubbing up front or back. I had Discount Tire fit a BFG 285/40/17 KDWS tire up front on my stock rim and no problem. This tire that I bought is .3 inches taller because of the 40 percent of 285MM. It still fits and no rubbing. Contact DT and they'll be sure to help you out. They have the best prices and best service. By the way, you are going with a 30 series tire which is a very short profile tire. I hope this helps. Kevin from Las Vegas.

You'll probably want a 35 series tire instead of a 30 series.
285/35-18 or 275/35-18 are good fits for a 18x9 rim.
