Those are the Weld RT's. The ones in this thread are the welded instead of the bolted ones.
The welded ones are the Weld RT-S's. Last time I checked on Summits site, they are on there but no pics and they didn't ship till the end of april. I really want these BUT at this price, I know everyone at the track will be showing up with these.

That's why I like my RTs. But I just ordered a set of RTS wheels for my other car. I really love them. I already can't wait for them to ship.

I'm looking at my sheets and I see

15x3.95 5X4.75 1.60

For the fronts, is that right I thought someone in a different thread said they were running 1.50 backspacing.

John,
The 1.6" backspace is available on a "low pad" wheel for drag brake packages. The LS big brake will require the "medium pad" wheel which is a 15x4.08 at 1.5" backspace.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLD-71MB-504A15A/

Hope this helps.

Scott, I must say, you've outdone yourself making these wheels! I can't wait to get my rears. 3 week wait is going to suck though, I'm so impaitent

I'm waiting on a set of the bolted RT from summit but they keep pushing the date further and further back. Bumped up to early may now. Jegs shows em shipping april 10th, but I'm sure that will be pushed back another moth soon too. Did the factory blow up or what!?

That's not really that expensive? Any aftermarket wheel is going to cost you at least 1k, let alone a very high quality 3 piece drag wheel.

A set of Weld's economy wheels (Prostars, Draglites or Rodlites) will run $700.

i think summit has a credit card. really, thats not that expensive for a set of wheels but that also doesnt include tires. however i dont have that kind of money laying around to just throw down on a set of wheels either. thats why the payment method looks very tempting lol.

Yes a set of Draglites or Pro Stars are less but they require spacers and grinding for the front AND the back.

Yeah looks like three weeks to order the rims.

I hope it will only be a few more weeks. I ordered about 2 weeks ago when summit was saying they would ship in 2 days. Then they were pushed back to april 20 something, but I got a card in th mail that they would ship by april 5th. Here we are on april 7th, and they are talking early may now.
