what your 60' on 555r? just ordered me a set of 555rs, my street tires are down to 1.5/32s, still hooking good but figured its about that time
what 60's are people getting on these and what are you doing for you burnouts? id like to see consistent <1.85s

and yes, my street tires are under 2/32s in the center of the tread and like 4/32 at the sides (guess i run too much pressure on the street lol)
The best 60 ft I ever got with mine is 1.84, 2.73 gears and a Yank 2800 stall, dead hook. Ever since I went back to a stock converter and 3.42 gears I haven't gotten a clean launch with them, always some tire spin and 1.92-1.95 60 ft times. I heat them until I can see smoke in both mirrors, about 5 seconds.
I've talked to guys with higher-stalled autos who have cut 1.6 quick times with Nittos.

I just bought the new NT05-R because a friend of mine had serious trouble on the 555r... I cut a 1.6 friday night... The NT05-R hooked better than my mickey's... 377 shipped from a guy on ebay.

it also depends on your suspention set up if its stock or moded.
i can constantly get in the 1.8's and i have broke the 1.7's before.
i run about 25psi at the track(if the track prep is good i will allmost dead hook)
i have a stock stall also.
the lowest i will go is 19-20 psi if its spining a little.
