Default 275/55/16 M&H or 255/50/16 MT?

Looking to buy a set of drag radials. I am interested in maximum hook not longevity as I will have regular rims/street tires as a back up. Which one of these will hook better? Any 1.5~1.6 60' times with either tire you can verify? I'm sure the M&H's will throw the ABS light on as they are 1" taller than my fronts, plus I will lose some gear because of the height.

The M&H is a bigger and wider tire, but the MT reputation as a hard hooking tire seems to be superior. Trying to make the best choice here. I have a stock internal A4 Z28 with 3.23 rear, headers, lid, and a Yank SS3600 if that helps. Some pics would be great of either tire on a car with stock rims. Thanks

Steve

I say you'll hook fine on the 255 M/T's. If you had more gear or more motor work I might suggest the M&H's.
