Default Nitto 555 Extreme Performance

I just bought a set of Nitto 555 extreme performance tires. I was wondering if anyone if anyone has ran these tires and what kind of performance/life I can expect out of these tires. Thanks.

i just got a pair of the 555 extremes too. i am not sure if there is a plain 555 vs 555 extreme, but i hope i get the same 20k+ miles that alot of other guys are claiming. right now the most miles ive gotten out of a set of tires is maybe 12k or so.

Hey:

I just purchased some new wheels, and went with Nitto 555s as I have had them before they just don't work well in the big down pours we get here once in awhile, but the 555 last a long time (I got almost 30,000 last time daily driving, no hotrodding them) and work great in the dry. Just got to be careful and slow down in the wet. The NT05/NT05R are a better combo, for a street/strip car and wish I would have kept them (sold to buy this setup), but I put them on a daily driver again, so I did not think they would last that long. Invo's or NT05's no r would have been the best bet I think now, as its rained here more this year than the last 3 combined.

the nitto 555r DRs have a decent tread life on them, if you drive regular u can expect to get 10k+ miles. But IMHO nitto 555r DR suck....others have seen different, but in my experience i couldnt get mine to hook up or anything. Now that ive switched to stickey mickeys, ill never go back
