Default will these nitto dr's hook better than my 315 sumo's?

Will 250/50/R16 nitto drag radials hook better than my 315 sumitomo's? Im getting ready to buy these here in a little bit so I can run some better times at the track next week.

A wooden wagon wheel will hook better than Sumos.

LOL !!! Soo true . I have Nitto D/R 's on my Z . They work very well for me .I can dead hook with a 4000 stall and 373's .( stock motor though )

315-35-17 . A 16" tire will have more sidewall flex than a 17" though .That will help out also .

Huh, I can't get my 245/50/16 Nittos to dead hook with 3.42s and a stock converter.

I just wanna get a 1.9 60 ft and I will be happy. Should I dead hook on these tires?

Its a real tire. I can see it, touch it, smell it and all. I could taste it, but I don't think it would be to good. There are 4 of the senses right there so I think they are all real tires

Already bought these. I should be able to pull a 1.9 60ft with these. I mean I got a 2.08 60 ft on 245 primewell street tires

Nitto DR's (315's) hook me from a 1st gear punch most of the time.
Sumihomo's would spin from a 3rd gear punch.

you should get a 1.9 easy ! Yes the M/T are better then the nittos , but the nitto should do better then the sumo's. Good luck

I can get 1.7's-1.8's 60' with my nittos but thats after getting them heated up really good if you dont they wont hook. So just do a really good burn out and you should get better then a 1.9

Cool thanks guys I really appreciate it. I just really hope they come in by June 3rd!!! Cuz I think if I can get a 1.9 60ft or better I might be able to get 12's!

I was just considering upgrading to these exact radials because I picked up a screw in one of my rear BFG G-sports. Definitely post-up your results and you're running these because you wanna stick with the stock rims, right? Because I love my chrome stockies and couldn't believe they made a DR in such a special size.
