Default Nitto NT-05 vs Khumo Ecsta XS

Anyone have any comparisons between or experience with them? Now I just have to decide between 275/40/17 and 285/40/17. Not sure if the 285 will rub in the front.

ive had Kumho XS 295/30 17s on 10"wide rims. rubed slightly on turns but the BMW rims kinda had a alot of offset. on the vette rims im running now i bet they would fit just fine without rubbing. you might have to get them to fit like 315s since they will tuck them insde more. some minor BFH modding may be needed especially if you're lowered.
they are nice tires, i havnt had a chance to try out Nittos nto5's but ive heard food things from them too. now remember dont confuse NT05s with NT05Rs because those are worlds apart in compounds lol

I was just deciding between these two also. Ive read the Kumhos are slightly stickier and handle heat a little better, which is good for autocross, but Im probably going to go with the Nittos just because of the price. If I can find anyone who has 315's in stock.
