Does it matter if tread matches? i came into a good deal on a pair of 275/35/18's for my dd c5's. but i cant find the tires i got for a decent price for the front. so basically i found another brand cheap enough for the front. but does matchin tread pattern really make that big of a differance. oh they will be 275/35/18's also

Not really but different tires wear down different. Traction will differ on each side too thus possibly causing your differential to wear uneven and prematurely such as peg legging. (worse case scenario) Also, as stated above, looks and noise will differ.

ok guys gotcha. im going to go buy the tires now that i know it wont hurt anything. ill just have different tread front and back. the looks wont bother me too much. nor sound. ill post pics after i get them on. i cant wait!!! thanks
