Im also debating the Mickeys compared to the NT05R's. I'm thinking I'm going to be putting down 400-420 rwhp with a 3200 stall on 3.73's. Will the NT05's allow me to nail it from a dead stop and not have to feather it? I'll be happy if I can get two summers worth of driving out of either one. The car will never see the track and probably only get about 3000 miles per summer.

I already had done a write up on these NT05R , Yes they r good in the rain as my last thread I just made . Yes they r the **** from a dig street or track. I personally think they r as good as A MT dr u just have to heat them up good and they will be sticky as ****! . I love them a lot , and would reccomend them to anyone. I have the 315/35/17 Nt05R and they r perfect!!

When I first got mt M/T's 255/50/16, I drove back from Detroit to Chicago at about 75MPH in the rain the whole way back with no issues. I dead hook 1.55-1.56's all day long with small/med burn-outs. Now, when they were worn down to about 1-2/32nd's, I got cought in the rain and would hydroplane going anything over 10mph. I'm sure if you had a bald nitto, it would do the same (there is just no where for the water to go).
All in all, until I see some 9-10 sec passes with these new Nitto's, I'll stick to the M/T's.

I probably only drive a few thousand miles a year so tread life does not really matter to me, making 510-520rwhp N/A I would rather have the traction when I need it. (I drove around on regular et streets this whole past year lol) I ordered M/T radials in the newish 295/55/15 size for my new wheels.

lmfao hahaha maybe lol ... and idk about the cornering , I know im probably going to be getting the guys of Gforce motorsports here in Houston to try them out , the tunner Mike loved them and seen they were soft and sticky as **** ..
