It's aaaallllll about taste and choice...to me, 20's are too large for an fbody...but the ones pictured so far look great with them. These cars do have small wheel wells tho, so many times big rims look out of place...got mess with the fender gap/offsets/ect. to make them look right...I commend the men above for makin 20's work well!

ah, hope you guys liked mine too. they only reason i have the 20's is because when i first got the car i went to rush wheels in los angeles. i wanted a c6 z06 motorsports wheel 20x10 rear and 19x9.0-.5 in front or 19x11 rear and 18x9.0-.5 in front, in black with the deep dish lip. the sales person quoted me 1700 rims and tires first so i left a 300 deposit for him to order them, he calls me back within an hour and says that he quoted me the price for a certain size tire and if i wanted to change it would be 200 more so i say o.k. and hour later he calls back and says that i need an different tire but these he could give me for 180. i said o.k. then in another hour another call. so i told him to just put my money back on the card. guess he thought i just had money to blow. so i found a set of 20 that i liked for a grand with tires, new a so i got those temporarily but people liked them so i kept them but really don't want them anymore. i want a forged 3 piece custom made for me but that to expensive now

Here's a few shots of my t/a.

And I just dynoed at 392hp on a load-bearing dyno and the tires can hold up as long as its not too cold out (not saying it has as much grip as a DR though). But I am happy with the set-up and get compliments all the time.
That actually looks pretty badass. Dont care for the ultralow profile tires though, but I guess we cant fit anything taller without hacking up the car.

when I look at my car compared to my gf's malibu, my wheels seem huge (17's) but when i park next to a new camaro, I suddenly feels so small.

Back when the push proto fifth gen was doing the rounds at the auto shows the thing that I overheard the most amongst the younger people was how well big wheels fit on it. I guess everyone has their thing.

TSW Jaramas 20x8.5 and 20x10, with +35 offsets.
Tires are Falkens 245/35/20 fronts and 275/30/20 rears. (I did not like the nitto's I had run previously).

The wheels were $450 each. Rear tires were $250 each, I already had the 245s from my old set of wheels.

While they are more expensive than other options, a hell of alot cheaper than the 3-piece ones I really wanted.

They also offer a black wheel/machined lip that I liked for cheaper, but i wasn't sure about black wheel on NBM.

Sorry but 20s are too big for fbody. Just ugly. Some are not too bad, like the one in this thread, but usually they look like **** IMO.

19'' is the most, while I think 18''are a good all around.

Everybody hates 20's on our cars for some reason. I have never seen anyone post their car on here with 20's and people say it doesn't look good. Doesn't make any sense.

Because the cars you see on here are the cars owned by people who truly love them-people with passion for their cars (most times)...people on LS1tech FOR THE MOST PART don't just throw any old parts on their car-it has to fit just right and look good...that's why when you see a Camaro on 20's on here, it looks good-because they put time and effort into making it look correct...

I think that the 20's look great on these cars. I have 18's personally and prefer to have more rubber to protect the rims. The roads that I travel are full of pot-holes and I know that if I had such skinny tires they'd just get jacked up.

personally, too many times 20's+ make the car look like it has a lift kit on it...unless you tweak the suspension or have ground effects it looks rediculous IMO...

Exactly...when I first put 20s on my car, it looked lifted...definately need to drop it if doing big wheels. That being said, I think 19s also look lifted with stock suspension.

also helps if you have a ws6 or ss tho, because they sit lower of course. My '95 formula would look rediculous with 20's
