i personally dont like 20's on a camaro... The cars with the ground effects maybe. 20's on the rear maybe. Its really hit or miss. The car in this thread with the CCW's i like but the normal bling bling 20's not so much..

In my view, it's the simple wheels (5-spoke, split 5-poke, etc. that look best in the large diameters. Also, since black wheels often look smaller than they are, a black wheel can look less ghetto.

Notice just about every car pictures here has a straight-forward design of wheel? I don't think it's an accident.

If you're running 20's, etc., please list the wheel and tire sizes.
Are you running a setup with the same overall diameter as stock,or did you go to a taller wheel/tire combo? I think that could make a big difference on how well the 20's work.

What does rim size have to do with being a camaro Boy? Come on now... Yes we have had cars in the past with big rims, but that went out of style back in 2005. Most of our cars are on 19's or 17's, so honestly there's no need to bring us up. PERIOD.

camaro Boyz were not repsonsible for killing anyone. Yes, the freeway was shut down for donuts, yes it was dumb, however take a look at the video on youtube, there were Mustangs and other cars involved, and they weren't even camaro Boyz. Truth of the matter is we got put in it because there were Camaro's and where there are Camaros "it's gotta be camaro Boyz" at least that's the thought process that some people have. We were not responsible for that event.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but I had to clear up the misconceptions.

Any wheel that "works" in a 20 will look 10x better in an 18 or 19. 20's just a little too big for the lines of firebirds.

20s are just too big for these cars. 18s in front 19s in rear are the biggest you'd want to go on a 4th gen.

You can pull off 20''s... they do make the car look great..

I roll on 19's in both the front and rear.. My picture has AXIS SUPER Hiro's 275's in the front that never rubbed anything... and 295's rears that also never rubbed...

my wheel wells are filled in almost perfect and they fit flush with the fenders..

and the blue trans am..and the black one on 20's are f*cking sick..

No Thanks. I don't think it's any longer a muscle car with anything above an 18" wheel. Anything larger becomes more of a show/luxury car.

I may be a little old for this crowd and I have 15's on mine but nephew's friend has 20's on his 'vette and I think they look bad.Told him I hope he hits no holes or the rims are gone. The new cars were brought up and I don't care for the wheels on them or the high doors and short tops either
