ford wheel adapters

is there an adapter to fit a ford wheel on a gm car, i want to find the adapter to fit a cobra wheel on a Trans Am.

actually i want to put an 03 cobra wheel on a 98-02 trans am.

yanno I really haven't HEARD much of adapters being dangerous BUT a member on here(BAIN) had an accident just down the road from my house a few months back and it seemed like the studs used in his spacer broke and his wheel went for a nice trip down the highway! IT wasn't a pretty site........ and on top of that it was raining that night LOL
