question about tire width.......

what is the widest tire you can have on a 17 or 18 in rim for the front with out rubbing on a camaro??

well, they come with 275's stock, do u want much wider than that? 285/35x18's might fit with the right offset wheel... also, is the car lowered any, or stock height? i would use either a 245/40(8.5" rim), or 265/35(9" rim) on the front, with a 285/35x18(9.5/10") on the back, or 275/35x18's(9.5") all the way around

my car is lowered, and right now i have back 285's

Eugenio SS runs 315's all the way around without rubbing. Thats the biggest I've heard of.

ok and one more question, how do i figure out my rim size while it is still on the car.....

my tire size are

back-285x40x17
front-275x40x17

any help would be great thanks
