Default 26/11.5 /16 Slicks ?

Would this slick fit on a oem type 16 inch rim?

An 11.5" tire seems way too large for a 8.5" wheel.

I taught it was an 9" rim.

No. OEM 16" rims are 16x8.5, and even then 11.5" tires seem a little large for a 9" rim... Even with slicks.

I ran the factory chrome 16" wheels on M/T 26x11.5x16 ET Streets for the past two years without any problems. They fit well and hooked great....you won't have any problems at all.

factory 16" wheels r 16x8"...
looking at the MT site, they recommend a 10" rim for a 26x11.5... they recommend a 9" for a 26x10.5, and only an 8" for a 28x11.5...
