What Size M/T Et Street Drag Radial for 15x10 Weld?
Alright i keep hearing many mixed feelings on the right tire size to hook the hardest on the street with. I want a 325/50/15, but i've herd you have to mod the fenders for the width, i also wouldn't mind doing a 315/60/15 because i'm running my 12-bolt with 4:10's out of gear so i really want a 28 inch tire out back for when the bottle goes on it. So i am stuck on what i need to do here guys? I already have BMR adj LCA's, PHR, TRQ-ARM, an Relocation bracket. I don't have any after market springs or shocks yet because this car will prolly never see the track as a 6-speed until it goes auto it will be street driven alot of it's life. Which tire with pics an mods would any of you guys say have the best hooking ability on the street out of all the tire sizes of the M/T Et Streets?

Six speed cars and radial tires usually don't clash well on the street. However, sounds as though your best bet will be a 325/50r/15 tire. I had them on my Camaro, they were not hard to fit at all. You could step to a 315/60r/15 (30" tire) but will need to do some trimming to the rear bumper cover. With your adjustable LCAs you will need to move the rear back about 1/2 inch, and trim the rear of the bumper cover to clear for them. The good thing about the radial tire, is it will not grow with tire speed like a bias ply slick will.

315/60/15 sounds like the best tire because it's wide enough to hook a wide surface and it's tall enough to extend the 4:10's a bit. I would really like to run a 325/50/15 but is really gonna be worth the trading width for height or vise versa?
