Default Anyone put Iroc wheels on their 4th gen?

Just curious as to whether or not they'll clear the brakes.

I've saw a V6 93-97 car running around that has 15" IROC wheels on it. Couldn't tell ya what they done to get them to fit though

I think all IROC wheels were 16". In that case you would just need the proper offset.

They make repro 15". But I'm talking OEM.

I'm wondering because I have LS1 brakes on my 68, but I can get some IROC's cheap, and I'd like to throw them on there as beater wheels.

Since some 17" wheels do not clear C5 brakes, I figured this might happen with LS1 brakes, so I thought I'd ask.

3rd gen and 4th gen offsets are drastically different. Even if they clear the brakes, they may stick out of the fenders.

Oops. I saw LS1 and thought 4th gen. My bad. Your title was asking about putting IROC wheels on a 4th gen, so I assumed it was a 4th gen.

So I can get this straight.
You have a 1968 camaro with ls1 brakes am I right?
You also want to run regular 16x8 Iroc wheels correct?
if your wondering if they will clear the ls1 brakes, yes they will.
My ghetto cousin had 22s on his SS, and when he was going to paint the car, he had mounted on 16x8 iroc wheels.
They Fit, but if I remember right they were sticking out a bit from the fenders,
but since they are going in your 1968, they should fit fine I think.

On my old 71 TA i run IROC wheels. They have different offset front and rear. Wheels are marked front/rear as well, if i rememer it right i used back wheels in front and Vice-versa. I was forced to use wheel adaptors in the back on my 71.

71 looks fantastic. What's up with the round reflectors on the bumper? That's not OE is it?

Title of the thread is confusing.

Best of luck to the OP though.

Hey:

The 71 looks f n great, but rectangular red rear reflectors, would be better, IMHO.
Awesome colour, is it DGGM, Dark Green Gray Metallic or Teal?
