Default "R" and "ZR" rated tires?

Quick question about tires. Is there a big difference between a "R' and "ZR" rated tire? I always thought that "R" were pretty much the norm for a TA, which one do you guys recommed buying?

R means its a radial, which is just about every tire made today... the other letter is the speed rating, along with the load index after the size, like 102W, with the W being the speed rating... Z is a generic letter meaning "over 149", u then hafta look at the letter after the load index...
