Default Advantages and Disadvantages?

So I got C6 rims right now. 19's in the rear, 18's in the front.
Rear-285/35
front-245/40

What would be some advantages and disadvantages of switching to OEM WS6 wheels and stock size tires. Are the 19's in the back slowing me down. They don't seem to hook up all that well, considering they look like the tires are a foot wide. I just bought some brand new front tires for the C6 rims, and I had also thought about getting some 18" C5 wheels from OEwheels and getting rid of the C6's. Seems like a lot of work though, just to drop down a size on the rear wheel. However, I could use the front tires I just bought. So from a performance standpoint what should I do?

Well, to start off with.. OEM WS6 wheels usually are cheaper then bigger aftermarket wheels unless you find a good deal. and there are a bunch on this site..

Second, I don't think that is the actual wheel that is slowing you down.. It's the tire.. If you had 16'' wheels and **** for tires you wouldn't hook either..

The advantage would be financial.. get some drag radials for the back tires and keep your set up.. but, i would hate for you to go through selling or trading those tires just to be on the same boat..

I know where I can get some WS6 wheels for $400 locally. So no shipping would be a plus. Is this about right or a little too high?
Another question=how much of a difference does tire diameter make on acceleration vs top speed. Bigger tire=less acceleration
I always wondered about this and if it was actually noticeable.

It's noticable, especially if you have 2.73's out back. You can always compensate by changing out your rear ring and pinion, or better yet dump the 10 bolt.
