I have the MT SR's 28x12.00R15LT. All i can say is,they DONT bit like a DR.
I can be going 70MPH on the highway,and get sideway's to 120MPH
NO TRACTION like a MT drag radial.
If your looking for something to last longer than a drag radial, they will do that.
I'm going with the M&H next!

No problems driving on the street/highway (actually drive very decent 55/75mph,hardly no road noise) Very Good street manners.I just prefer something a little stickier.Thats the trade off thou with drag radials (Low milage tires).
I've over 3000 miles on the SR's(with about half the rubber left),where as a drag radial would have been showing wire thru the rubber at 2500/3000 miles (depending on how many track runs you do).
I am out of state now(work) but can shoot a pic' for you when i get back home.
They (SR's) have a pretty wild thread pattern too.
They are mounted on 15x10's

Well what iam thinking is that as of right now i have 4-255/60/15 which is suppose to be 27.01 inches tall of those 4 only 2 are good, but i measured 26.5, maybe cuz they are not new??? But a new 295/50/15 suppose to be 26.8 tall. I think i might place the 255/60/15 in the front ans buy 2 new 295/50/15 for the rear. hopefully they will be taller...

why do u have to have such a tall tire? If u run that combo your rear tires will be shorter then the fronts! you would be better with a 275/60 What wheels u running ans what size?

Reg Street tire sizes
295/50r15 = 26.6x11.6 little shorter but much wider
255/60r15 = 27.05x10.04 real skinny!
275/60r15 = 27.99x 10.83 little taller and wider

dang...I got well over 10k miles out of my nitto drag radials so far and they still have a minor amount of tread

I wish they made drag radials in a 295/50 though, 275/50 are too narrow and 325/50 are too damn tall

I love the look of 295/50s! But i will have some he new M/T DR 295/55R15 28X12.50R15 on my next set. No more normal street tires for me

I had a easy 6k miles on my SR's and still looked damn good! I spin the tires a lot too. i would say with normal driving they would last around 10k-20k. People think because they are a MT tire that they r a race tire and they r not. It a normal street tire! its a little softer compound so they wont last a long as most other tires but they are a little better for traction then normal tires but nothing like a DR. lol i paid 200$ for both my 295/50 allseason rear tire and have no problems at all hooking up from a roll! Its all in suspension. Those SR's r not worth the $$$$$$$$
