Default Mickey Thompson or Hoosier?

im going to get a new set of tires for the street and i was wondering what would you suggest, Mickey Thompson ET Streets or Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T.? Both seem to be a nice tire but i wanna know from the people who have used them. like how they do on the street/track, tread life... etc. thanks

Hoosier QTP is what i order havent recieved them let so no feed back. But alot of guys say they work well with a M6 car. Both are bias bly and probly have very crappy tread life and no as street friendly. in here to see what others say

+1 for the M/T. I had them on my daily driver and they were great on the street and hooked hard at the track.

1.5 60's are awesome to feel.

Had MT et streets (the one with the two skinny lines) and cut 1.50 short times 26X10.5 X16... Changed to a 26X10.5X15 Hoosier full slick and I barely spun cutting 1.52-1.54 short times.

MT last longer as well.

I have ran both, and I must say the hoosiers deadhooked everytime. They were more consistant then my et streets.

If you are going to go with the Hoosiers then don't go with the QTP. They are more like a slick and do not have the radial belt inside. These are the tires I use on my car and cut consistant 1.46 60ft with them. As I said up top I've had the M/T E.T. Streets and these tires just work better for me. Good luck in your search..

most will recommend what they use and most haven't used both.....go with a Hoosier drag radial and you won't be disappointed. They will not last as long as a M/T drag radial but what they lack in longevity they will make up at the track

............my 2 cents

What about the M/T ET Streets (not the radials) vs. the Hoosier DOT Drag radials?

I right now have the ET Streets (bias plys) Iv cut 1.62s-1.64s 60fts out of a 6 speed and run slower and lost mph vs the Hoosier Radials. I cut a 1.70 with the Radials and ran a hell of a lot faster on them. The Bias Plys hook but grow as you get down the track, Im going back with radials..more fun, faster and could drive it on the street more.

The ET Streets are hooking to hard for my car and making it bog, I guess I just need to leave at 7000 next time lol

I've had the QTPs on my car for over two years and they are just starting to hit the wear bars. I've been 1.5xs on them but the suspension wasn't setup right so it cut a better 60' now

Are they any good for the street? My nt555r's hook perfect on the street, and give me piece of mind if I get caught in the rain. I doubt they would hook this good at the track though!
