WHATS UP EVERY ONE...HAVENT BEEN ON HERE IN A LITTLE BIT...BUT I NEED SOME ASSISTANCE...I NEED NEW TIRES FOR MY camaro...IM RUNNING 19x8.5 ALL AROUND. IM WONDERING WHAT WOULD LOOK BEST. 245 35 19 OR 255 35 19. IF ANYONE HAS ANY PICS OF THESE TIRES MOUNTED ON RIMS ID APPRECIATE IT. THANKS EVERY ONE

Stock tire height is 25.66 in. The 245's are 25.75in and the 255's are 26.03 in tall. I doubt anyone will notice .25 in of tire height.

I would go with a 275 to try to avoid looking like you're driving a horse-drawn wagon.

I have 285/30/19s out back and they look SUPER narrow.

IMO, go with the 255/35/19's, they'll give you a little more width(+traction) and sidewall height(+ride).

heres a pic of a 19x8.5 wheel with a 245 35 19 on it.
im running 19x9.5 rears with a 275 30 19 and the rear tires are just a hair more low pro.
for a 8.5 wheel a 245 fits perfect.

I had 255/35/19 on my vette on a 10 inch wheel. it's a decent sized tire and IMO a little too wide for a 8.5 wheel. You will have alot of tread unused on both sides and lose some steering response but gain a little softer ride. a 245/35/19 will fit alot better and look better to me but that's my opinion. I prefer a more euro look like porsches and ferraris with tight fit tires. if you are a fan of beefy look tires like the stock 275/40/17 on 9 inch ss rims then 255 may be the look you are after.
