not really diggin them either. yes they are different i suppose, so props for doing that i guess. tires looks too tall or something. definitely lower it and sell the hood. that will make it look lots better. its your car and as long as YOU like them then thats all that really matters.

I'm sorry man, just count it as a loss and move on. The wheels just don't fit the car and it could look so much better with the right wheels.

Its your car, if you like them thats all that matters. At least your dont have Torq Thrusts(Like me), ZR1s(Like Everybody), or Vette wheels(Like everybodys mother). Good to see something different.

Yeah my bad, I knew that. Couldn't think straight with all the attacks here. They are 17x7.5
The only choice I had for these rims. They get wider for the 18" and 20" style. Neither of which I wanted or felt like spending the $$ on. The rubber really isn't "BULGING." I think the stock wheels where way 'bulgier'

When the rubber sticks out farther than the rim does, and is not flush....it is bulging. And, it looks to be bulging.

Yeah I know the sunoco hood, just didn't know the name. See them ALL THE TIME. They're ok but common. BTW, I bought the car with that hood. I'd rather do other things that spend a thousand +\- on another hood and paint job. The only thing I don't like about my hood is that it catches water on the front of the scoop. That's not enough to justify ditching it though. Not a big deal

Hmm. I'll be sure to make the neccessary adjustments next year. Just took a better look and they have a bulge. Still not that bad though. It does look worse in the picture and I see what yinz are talking about.

I have the stock 18x8 wheels on my G8 with the stock tire width of 245, and the tires stick out slightly. If you look at most tires & wheels the tires do stick out a little bit. With 7.5" wide wheels his tires stick out 1/4" more than mine, which is hardly anything, so I don't see what the big deal is. I'd rather have the tires stick out slightly since it protects the wheels from curb scuffing.

Only a douche would do that without being asked what you think. Random compliments to strangers = OK. Random criticism to strangers = Douche. What makes your opinion so great? What makes you think anyone cares what you think? Unless they asked you...
