Do you have any pics were I can see the rims alittle better?
How shiney are they compared to regular chrome in the sun?
Did you like them and how did they hold up to chips and stuff?

yes, sorry lol... It was kinda hard to keep them clean and the mustang wasn't a DD. when dust got on them they didn't shine. after awhile they started flaking for no reason. With abunch of tireshine on them they looked amazing. But I wish I woulda just kept the black bulletts w/polished lips I had on it.

only 03-04 cobras had the mirrors and flat sideskirts, but i was guessing it was like a 99 cobra or something. ether way it looks great even for a mustang.

i was geting ready to ask the same question about black chrome wheels.
i have some chrome zr1's now and im very tired of them(on the car when i got it aroud 5 years ago) and i seen dupliclor came out with a black chrome wheel coating kit.

it takes regular chrome wheels and makes them black chrome.
its a 2 step kit the black chrome part is a translucent coating and part 2 is a clear.

any one use it?
its called shadow.

From what I understand there is a couple different types of black chrome. One is a real chrome with copper, nickel, and chrome. The other is a metallic coating that is cooked on that gives the appearance of black chrome. It looks good but it can chip like powder coat.
There is a shop near me that does color chrome in almost any color. It can be applied on top of existing chrome. It is a coating though and not real chrome.
