Default FULL Slicks or dot approved for m6 car

OK fellas, I just burned up my 26x11.5x15 Hooiser QTP`s. Im a bolt on, suspenion m6 camaro with a fab 9" 4.11 gears and spooled. Car has been on a minor diet. Runs consistent high 11`s. The car did descent short times with the et streets (bias) and best 60' was 1.59 with the hoosiers. Im looking for a little better 60' so heres my options.

1) try a 27x11.5 Hooiser qtp
2) 26x10x15 Et Drag
3) 26x10x15 (S) Et Drag
4) 28x9x15 Et drag
5) Will a 28x10.5 or 28x10 fit and run the times with my 4.11 gears???

Don't run a taller tire unless you were out of gear at the traps or plan to run a numerically higher gear.

High 11's with bolt-ons only is pretty damn good for stock cubes if you are. Maybe look into a power adder?

Yes it's stock cubes and running pretty good. Just need experienced opinions on what tire to go with. Stick with the Hoosier qtp or go full slick? I can get a set of used 28x10 for the last event but will it kill me that much that I won't be able to compete in 12.0 class

If the QTPs work for you I would just stick with those so you can stay in the same class

A full slick would work good. I would just stay with the same tire if your cutting that good of a 60' with bolt ons.

Well I couldnt wait any longer. I went ahead and ordered M/T ET Drags. 26x10x15S. I could have gone with the same tire but I know it has better short times in it.

I slapped on my uncles 28x10.5x15S and the damn things fit perfectly. Had a minimal rubbing issue on my CME valence but cleared the bumper itself.
Took the car out and made 3 launch/passes and no issues other than abs/brake lights coming on. I did not notice any difference with the taller tire but im sure the track would be different.

Hopefully I can turn up the 2step and come out ALOT harder now.

You'll love those ET drags. Im running them at the track in my car and they hook pretty damn good.
