IMO those wheels aren't for f bodys, more like a caddy on 22 type of deal ,GMHTP this month had a red ws6 with a short rear end and he was running 17x11 rears with a custom off set ,lip was like 5 inchs tucked, that's pretty rare,if you like those rims its your car but every pic you will post, you are gonna read nice car lose the rims ,if you wanna hear that 2000000 times than go with one you wanted to.you can get a good looking rim that not a lot of people run,you could go with evos with painted rim and lip, there are a lot of choices.

Sorry didn't read that you did not wanna run wider rear rims, this is a brutal group here but get what you like,i don't care if you ran vette rims or daytons lol,you get what you like sometimes others will like it sometimes they won't,but to even spend the money on the rims your looking at I know you can get something that will look a lot better.I wish ya lots of luck in looking for wheels. I had zr1s I hated them, got pro stars now like them but gonna get a set of hp wheels or boze. Just do you man ,God bless

I am looking at some unique rims for my 98 firebird. I have it narrowed down to 4 choices. I have uploaded a picture of my car with the eagle 17's and the 4 new rims. These are all available in 18 x 8 and a proper bolt pattern and offset. I have a theory about F-body rims. I think they need to have some hard lines to offset the smooth car lines. Please let me know what you think!
You can find plenty of tasteful unique wheels if you search around a little. And stock wheels on WS6/SS cars (like you have pictured) are 17x9 all around with 275/40/17 tires. I would stick with something that is at least 9" wide or it will look goofy.
Check out these for unique wheels.

Thanks for the input guys. I just paid my credit card bill with $3200 worth of performance parts for my car so rims will have to wait till spring. I will probably put the first chrome choice ones on there. I don't like the look of a rim with the fake rivets bumps around the edges and really thin spokes (my opinion). I like my current rims, but since they have been discontinued I can't get them in a 18 x 9.

OP, you need to know what works with what. I only hope you aren't going to put chrome trim on everything next.
Those rims would match an 80's Sedan, as that is the look that they make. You own a Damn Muscle Car. You do not put huge ***, ugly as ****, expensive, "rimz", on a car like you have.
The wheels you have now are awesome. Lower it and it'll look even better. You get wheels like you posted, and people will think you're a dumbass. End of story. This is how the rest of the world thinks.
If you want to know what I have, here you go.
The Factory blessed me with some sweet *** white powder coated wheels.

I have to agree with what most everyone here is saying. I respect that you're looking for something unique, and in the end, it is your decision, but you can do better than those. Post #47 has some really good looking options that stray a bit more from the standard vette wheels. On another note, if you decide to sell the eagles, let me know! I've been looking for some, and can't seem to find them anywhere...

Do whatever you want. End of story. Since your asking for help choosing however, i agree with EVERYONE that those wheels, you will not end up liking, im 99.9899999572% sure. haha. No but seriously do w.e you want man. My wheels are stock snowflakes that i powdered black (in my profile pics) and i LOVE them. Cheap tires, free powdercoating, 100% better! In the future..who knows, i would like some rims to fit wider tires but i got no money right now for either..
Good luck!!

Personally,... for a street car, either 'stock' or Torque Thrusts are the best. Less is more... Anything else looks like your trying to hard to get noticed in your ride. .. It's like the people who wear 20lbs of jewelery. YOU think you look cool wearing all your money on "pimp status" but you really look like a joke. ..... Performance before appearance! ....

My Favorites
Off Topic I know - but these Z06 rims are my absolute favorites.
If they only made them in 17 X 10.5 (vs 9.5)
Having said that, out of your 4 original choices, I like #3 (the 7 spokes) the best.

If I have to pick, the last one. (I'm rolling on Fikse FM5's)
If you want something unique that'd look sweet on a T/A check out Modular Society Victory wheels... but very far from cheap.
