yea you have to pull the axles out, the studs either need to be pressed or installed using a stud installer. Matco sells them for $40. Use that and an acorn-style lug nut with lots of anti-sieze and an impact, takes no time at all!

thanks man
Thank ya sir!
I went with direct drill just because i wanted 0 chance of movement with the wheel, a lot of guys have good luck with the unilugs, i didnt wanna chance it.
normally youd be right. I have a MWC 9" with 2"x1/2" wheel studs on 35 spline strange axles. I dont know how familiar your are with a 9" but your axle bearings have to be pressed on. you have to take your backing plate off your stock rear end where your rear brakes mount, and you slide it onto the axle, then you press the bearing on and then the wedding ring to hold everything in place. But before you do that you have to thread in your wheel studs through the back side of the hub before you do all that stuff, or you cant get them in between the backing plate and the wheel hub. ask me how i know lol. i went through 3 set of bearings before i got it right haha. first i forget my backing plate, then i forgot to put my wheel studs in....

15x10 with a Hoosier QTP 27x10.5 rear tire
Stock front suspension and "heater-hose mod" stock rear suspension.

My thoughts are to do a 15x10 rear again and a 17x4.5" front like you, and send the fronts off to wheels america and have them widened to about a 17x8.5 and run a 265-275 up front..
